Santosh Kamath is a Managing Director with A&M and leads the firm’s Clean Energy and Energy Transition practice in India. He brings more than 23 years of experience in management consulting across the energy value chain, including power utilities, conventional and renewable energy generators, grid operators, regulators and governments.
Mr. Kamath has led programs related to performance improvement, business strategy and organizational transformation with clients. He also brings a deep understanding of regulation and power markets and has assisted regulators in developing regulation, market modeling and competition development. Additionally, Mr. Kamath brings expertise in demand-side management, energy efficiency and waste-to-energy areas and has advised corporates in their decarbonization journey, helping them evaluate alternate sources of low-carbon energy and assisting them in procurement of the same.
Furthermore, Mr. Kamath has been called to advise senior government authorities and expert committees in relation to scaling up clean energy in India and resolve difficult issues in the power sector. He has advised regulators on matters related to tariff revision for long-term contracts due to global events, and been an early advocate of use of solar power in the agriculture sector.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kamath served as Partner with KPMG in their energy practice and led the renewable energy sector. With specialization in new energy areas, including solar and wind power, hydrogen and energy storage, he has advised clients in bidding for government concessions in these sectors, and also in the mining and resources area.
Mr. Kamath's notable assignments include driving operational excellence and business transformation for a large power utility; developing the renewable energy policy for a large state in India; advocating for development of the solar manufacturing ecosystem in the country; and helping a large utility to scale up distributed solar generation through an aggregation model.
Mr. Kamath earned a BTech degree from IIT Bombay and a management degree from IIM Bangalore. He also authored the industry-acknowledged thought leadership paper in the solar sector, “The Rising Sun,” which predicted the rise of solar energy to where it stands today, much ahead of its time.

Kunwar Vijayant Singh is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Business Transformation Services in Delhi. Mr. Singh has more than 24 years of experience, including in crafting and implementing strategic initiatives, optimizing operational processes, and leveraging data-driven insights to deliver measurable results.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Singh spent 18 years with McKinsey & Company, most recently as a Partner. He led McKinsey India’s Materials and Advanced Analytics in Metals practices. He worked across diverse industrial sectors, including metals, mining, chemicals, auto and auto components, electrical products, and heavy engineering. He has worked in India, China, South East Asia, Sri Lanka, the U.K., the Netherlands, and the U.S., among others.
Previously, Mr. Singh worked with information technology majors such as IBM and Cognizant on strategy formulation, setting up business processes, transition of processes across geographies, and software delivery.
Mr. Singh earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and a master’s degree in business management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.

Ranajit Sahu is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Business Transformation Services in Bengaluru. He specializes in driving large-scale, value-based business and digital transformation programs across Indian conglomerates, private firms, and public sector entities. His primary areas of concentration are operational excellence, including greenfield and brownfield mega capital project management, owner project management office (PMO) operations, and EBITDA improvement programs across industry verticals.
With more than 13 years of consulting and industry experience, Mr. Sahu has worked with various metal and mining firms, mine developers and operators, engineering, procurement and construction players, and related ministries across India.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Sahu spent more than 11 years in the Natural Resources practice at Accenture Strategy in Mumbai, most recently serving as Managing Director and Lead of Mining for Accenture in India. He led a large-scale digital transformation and performance improvement program for the world’s largest coal mining company, based in India. He was involved in the digitalization of select mega-mines and helped improve the performance of mining operations. He also helped one of the world’s largest steel manufacturing companies to set up the largest greenfield capital project in India and run PMO operations to ensure the project’s timely completion. Prior to that, he worked for the Steel Authority of India Limited.
Mr. Sahu earned a bachelor’s degree in instrumentation and electronics engineering from the College of Engineering & Technology, Bhubaneswar, and a postgraduate diploma in management from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. He is certified in Analytics-Powered Strategy by the Kellogg School of Management, U.S. He is also an INSEAD-certified Strategy Professional and is certified as a Sustainability Excellence Associate by Green Business Certification Inc.

Vivek Kamra is a Managing Director with A&M’s performance improvement and restructuring business in India. He has 27 years of experience in leadership positions in steel, automotive construction and logistics industries in India and South East Asia.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kamra served as the President – India Operations at JK Tyre and Industries Ltd., a leading tyre manufacturer in India. In this role, he led several transformative initiatives in operations, M&S, supply chain, human resources and communications with a strong focus on driving a technological shift in mindset and process management. He put in place a strong management and review structure to enable ambitious continuous performance improvement.
Mr. Kamra served at Tata Steel for 25 years where he served as President & CEO of Natsteel Holdings Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Steel in South East Asia with operations in Singapore, China, Vietnam, Australia, Malaysia and Thailand. He also served on the board of Tata Steel Thailand and Tata Steels Global Wires Business. In Singapore, Mr. Kamra also served on the National Workplace Safety and Health Council of Singapore.
His first P&L role was as the Executive-In-Charge Tata Steel Tubes Division in Jamshedpur; the steel tube and pipes arm of the steel company which supplied components to the automotive industry, structural sections for specialized construction and conveyance pipes for the building and construction industry.
Mr. Kamra also served as the Chief of Supply Chain (Customer Service Division) at Tata Steel and led a supply chain transformations at Tata Steel, Tubes Business, NatSteel and at JK Tyres.
A graduate from Indian Institute of Technology Mumbai, in Metallurgical Engineering he has completed an Advanced Senior Management Program at the Centre of Executive Development (CEDEP), INSEAD Campus and a One Year Business Management Program from XLRI Jamshedpur. Vivek is also a Chevening Scholar awarded by the British Council of India for Young Managers a study program at Leeds University.
