Kaustav Ganguli is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal and leads the healthcare practice in India. He has more than 15 years of experience in consulting and industry across the healthcare, life sciences, education and business services sectors.
Mr. Ganguli has advised on 70+ engagements across the healthcare value chain, spanning hospitals, single specialty models, primary care, home care, day care, urgent care, diagnostics, pharmacy, health IT, health education, medical equipment and devices and health insurance. He has also advised on transactions in the healthcare provider space, including multi-specialty hospital chains and single specialty and outreach formats such as primary care, dialysis, IVF, day care, urgent care, mother and child care and diagnostics.

He focuses on helping pharmaceutical companies leverage the power of new digital technologies to drive better outcomes.
Mr. Misra has also had significant exposure with clients across the human health spectrum, including providers, payors and device manufacturers.
Mr. Misra specializes in working with pharmaceutical organizations, advising them on commercial transformation, sales force excellence, organization restructuring, and digital transformation. He has also worked with PE funds, guiding them in investment decisions related to pharma assets. Mr. Misra has led large and complex engagements related to performance improvement, business strategy and organizational transformation in India, the U.S., Europe, and emerging markets.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Misra worked in leadership roles with pharmaceutical consulting practices at EY, Accenture and BCG and in operator roles with Ranbaxy and Wockhardt. Ashish Bansal is a Managing Director with Alvarez and Marsal’s Global Transaction Advisory Group in Delhi, and serves as the practice’s Co-Head in India.
Mr. Bansal brings more than 19 years of experience in transactions. His primary area of concentration is financial due diligence in an integrated approach with commercial, operational and ESG diligence.
Mr. Bansal has advised private equity funds and corporate buyers on buy- and sell-side and on domestic and cross-border transactions. He has worked across a range of sectors, including healthcare, life sciences, auto components and diversified industrials, consumer and retail.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Bansal was at KPMG India for over 19 years in their Deal Advisory practice, specializing in transaction services, where he most recently served as a Partner.
