Shubhra Goel is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Business Transformation Services practice in Mumbai. She specializes in management consulting, focusing on financial services.
With more than 20 years of industry and consulting experience, Ms. Goel has helped clients in analytics- and technology-led sales improvement, formulation and implementation of digital strategy, entry strategy, operating model review and redesign. She has worked with clients across life, health and general insurance, banking and capital markets.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Goel spent seven years with Accenture Strategy in Mumbai, serving most recently as Managing Director and Consulting Lead for Financial Services for India clients. Some of her recent projects include reviewing and reimagining operations journeys for large banking clients, digital strategy for a large wealth management client and enterprise architecture review for a health insurance client.
Previously, Ms. Goel worked with the advisory division of Ernst & Young, India and the Analytics Center of Excellence of GE Capital International Services.
Ms. Goel earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Hansraj College, Delhi University; an MBA in finance and strategy from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and a master’s degree in economics from the Delhi School of Economics.

Shweta Jha is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Transformation in Mumbai. She brings over 18 years of experience driving strategy and operations for financial services clients.
Ms. Jha has expertise in driving operational efficiency, making data-driven decisions, managing financial and non-financial risks, modernizing data and technology, designing bank-wide digital journeys, redesigning operating models, and operationalizing AI solutions.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Jha worked with firms such as Booz & Company (now Strategy&), Accenture, and Deutsche Bank, where she worked as Strategy & Corporate Development Lead overseeing its Internal Global Strategy team out of Mumbai.
Ms. Jha earned a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in the U.S.

Bhavik Hathi is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal's Global Transaction Advisory Group in Mumbai, and serves as the practice’s Co-Head in India. He brings 16 years of experience in advising clients in transactions and audit. His primary areas of concentration are financial, commercial and operational due diligence.
Mr. Hathi has worked with clients across a range of industries, including financial services, real estate, logistics, retail, consumer and aviation. He has been involved in numerous transactions providing for private equity clients in India as well as corporates in sectors such as NBFC, microfinance, housing finance, exchanges, brokerage, banking, logistics, retail and consumer.
Additionally, Mr. Hathi has led integrated due diligence teams providing financial, commercial and/or operational due diligence services to numerous clients such as TPG Capital, TPG Growth, Warburg Pincus, Blackstone, GIC, Temasek, Morgan Stanley, CDC and Olympus Capital.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hathi spent 14 years with EY, where he most recently served as Director. At EY, he worked on numerous cross border and private equity transactions for clients such as KKR, Carlyle, Blackstone, Waburg Pincus, Apax Partners, Baring Asia, WL Ross, ICICI Ventures, IDFC Private Equity, L&T Finance, Reliance Capital, GE Capital, T Rowe Price, Axis Bank and Kotak Group.
Mr. Hathi earned a bachelor's degree in commerce and accounting from the University of Mumbai. He is qualified as a Chartered Accountant through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. An Indian national, Mr. Bhavik is fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati.

Shiva Botchu is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Business Transformation Services in New Delhi. He specializes in technology strategy and advisory, with a focus on technology-led business transformation, enterprise architecture, advanced planning and optimization (APO), integrations and carve-outs, cost takeouts, sourcing strategy, and IT operating models.
With over 22 years of consulting experience, Mr. Botchu helps clients build technology resilience and future readiness to meet business short-term and long-term visions and objectives.
Mr. Botchu’s notable assignments include offshoring the data function for a global bank, designing a mainframe migration strategy for a large Southeast Asian bank, and leading the global carve-out of a Japanese high-tech company.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Botchu spent four years with Accenture in Gurugram, where he served as a Senior Manager. He led the India Market Unit for Technology Strategy and Advisory, advising financial services and consumer packaged goods clients on enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and IT operating models.
Mr. Botchu earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) and a master’s degree in management from the Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra. Mr. Ranjan has advised clients across across India, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America, leveraging his deep topical expertise in digital lending, hyper-personalization, small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) finance, risk management, and generative AI (GenAI)-powered solutions.
Mr. Ranjan’s notable work includes launching a greenfield fintech venture, leading a multi-year digital transformation for a large NBFC, designing a government-subsidized SME lending program, and embedding AI- and GenAI-driven solutions to create process efficiencies for multinational banks.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Ranjan spent 10 years with McKinsey & Company’s Financial Services practice, where he was also a leader with QuantumBlack, McKinsey’s AI arm, focusing on India and Southeast Asia.
Mr. Ranjan earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur.
