Pankaj Bhagat is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Infrastructure & Capital Projects in New Delhi.
Mr. Bhagat specializes in advising clients in the infrastructure, engineering and construction, real estate and industrial equipment sectors. His primary areas of concentration include working with senior industry leaders on large scale performance improvement and digital transformation programs.
With more than 25 years of core industry and consulting experience, Mr. Bhagat brings proven success in the management and turnaround of large and complex capital projects, as well as in driving organization wide functional transformation for engineering and construction conglomerates.
Mr. Bhagat’s notable assignments include being part of mega capital project management programs for leading owners, developers and EPC contractors across industries. He has also had the opportunity to serve the Chief Executive Officers and boards of top three organizations in the EPC and construction sector in India. Mr. Bhagat has advised clients across various industries, including oil and gas, metals, power and urban infrastructure.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Bhagat spent over 12 years with Accenture Strategy & Consulting in India, where he most recently served as Managing Director. As part of the Supply Chain & Operations practice, he advised clients on mandates, including cost and productivity improvement, digital strategy and implementation, operating model design and change management.
Mr. Bhagat earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Nagpur University, a post graduate qualification in general management from IIM Kozhikode and a post graduate qualification in artificial intelligence from McCombs School of Business, University of Texas.

Saurav Kumar is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Infrastructure and Capital Projects in New Delhi. His primary areas of concentration include driving end-to-end transformation (leveraging digital and analytics), accelerating growth, and creating diversification strategies as well as enhancing value through cost and time efficiencies in capital projects.
With more than 16 years of industry and consulting experience, Mr. Kumar brings proven success in the turnaround of various large projects across buildings, rapid transit systems, railways, factories, petrochemicals, chemicals, fabrication, transmission lines, bridges, and solar and wind farms, among others. He also has deep experience in driving organization-wide functional transformation for engineering and construction players.
Mr. Kumar has collaborated closely with CXOs, business leaders, and management teams to define long-term strategic goals and create a lasting impact. Passionate about driving change, he is dedicated to establishing sustainable improvements. His notable assignments include helping infrastructure, engineering, and construction companies with strategy formulation, digital and analytics-led functional turnaround, project acceleration, design optimization, cost control, contracting and procurement, and organization design.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kumar spent more than 12 years with McKinsey & Company in India, largely working with engineering, construction, renewables, and infrastructure players.

Naman Gupta is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Infrastructure & Capital Projects in Bengaluru.
Mr. Gupta specializes in offerings including operating model design, operations excellence, and digital transformation for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) players as well as owners and developers. His primary areas of focus include engineering transformation, procurement transformation, cost and productivity transformation, project controls, and advanced analytics.
With over 16 years of experience across industry and consulting, Mr. Gupta has assisted clients in enhancing business performance across many sectors, including power, transmission and distribution, oil and gas, solar, water, pharmaceuticals, buildings, and real estate.
Mr. Gupta’s notable assignments include driving an operations excellence program for a solar EPC company, where he provided recommendations on design standardization, procurement optimization, peak-manpower optimization, and schedule compression; assisting a leading real estate developer in India in defining the building information modeling (BIM) strategy and implementation roadmap; and leading end-to-end transformation and EBITDA improvement initiative for a transmission and distribution EPC company in India.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Gupta spent over nine years with Accenture in the Supply Chain & Capital Projects teams, where he served as Senior Principal. He supported several clients across the real estate, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, and oil and gas sectors.
Mr. Gupta earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, India, and an MBA from the European School of Management and Technology, Berlin. He also earned certifications from INSEAD, MITx, and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
